The standards behind the collection.

Destry Market is a small, intentionally narrow shop. We carry goods — for the home, the body, and the everyday — that we'd put in our own routine and recommend to a friend without hedging. That's the bar.

The collection grows slowly on purpose. A lot of retail is built on the idea that more choice is better. We don't think that's true. More choice usually means more time spent comparing and less confidence in what you end up with. Our job is to do the comparing already, and to only stock the version that earned the spot.

Our standards

    Made well

    Real materials, honest construction, and a maker who will fix or replace it if something goes wrong. If a product needs a five-star review to look reliable, it isn't.

    Actually useful

    Every piece has to earn its place in a daily or weekly rotation. Decorative-only objects don't make it in, no matter how good the photography is.

    Built to last

    We prefer things designed to be used for years, repaired rather than replaced, and improved by wear instead of worn out by it.

    From makers we trust

    We buy direct from small and mid-sized brands, mostly in the US, and we only stock makers whose work we'd back without a discount attached.

Common questions

How do you decide what to carry?
Three things. First, the thing has to be made well — real materials, honest construction, and a maker willing to stand behind it. Second, it has to be useful — not novel, not collectible, but something a person would actually reach for. Third, the brand has to be one we'd recommend without a discount code attached.
Where do your products come from?
From small and mid-sized makers, mostly in the United States. We work directly with the brands rather than through distributors, which is part of how we can vouch for what's in the collection.
How long will shipping take?
Most orders ship within two business days. Standard delivery in the continental US is 3–7 business days from there. You'll get tracking as soon as the label is created.
What's your return policy?
30 days from delivery, no questions asked. If something isn't right, email hello@destrymarket.com and we'll send a prepaid return label. The product just needs to come back in re-sellable condition.
Do you offer a warranty?
Warranty terms vary by product and are honored through the original maker — we'll help you coordinate. For most items in the collection, the manufacturer's warranty covers defects for at least a year, often longer.
